it’s not a full reboot. they’re bringing the characters into one timeline so they’ll all still exist but they’ll be in one universe instead of being split across multiple universes. they’re also going to recast the x men so they’ll can have a new storyline for the mcu. eventually they’ll recast steve and tony but that won’t happen for years
