Sweepers the squash. Grow then vertically. They take up less space & get good airflow. The other bed with radishes, let it go. It's natural ground cover. Make sure you are feeding the plants nutrients so they don't fight for them. Egg shells are good but take a really long time to actually contribute to the soil. Looks top me like you're doing a great job! Why the cover? is it to protect the young plants?
