Saw it night 2. I love her background. Huge fan. Her book is fantastic. It needed to be cut a lot. But I wanna see it again once it’s done. The Porter show was sooo important but it’s sooo long.

Because she is so famously a persona (no one knows what she looks like out of her famous get up, etc) I feel like the two adult Dollys could have been the persona “Dolly Parton” and the other could have been the real / private Dolly we don’t get to see.

Thoughts on Act 1 closer &Act 2 opener? The placement of them (especially Act 1 closer) felt clunky. Also wish ensemble had more opportunity to shine
