Funny how y’all scream “patriots” but don’t even know who’s on Mount Rushmore or why. It’s not a Republican billboard — it’s a sculptor’s tribute to four presidents who represented birth (Washington), growth (Jefferson), development (Teddy Roosevelt), and preservation (Lincoln). Also, Jefferson's Democratic-Republican party is the ancestor of today's Democrats, so maybe check the family tree before you start carving out conspiracy theories. 🤷♀️Oh, and the artist? Gutzon Borglum had ties to white supremacists so maybe don't assume he was picking from a bipartisan nominee list. The faces on that mountain weren’t chosen by a vote… they were chosen by a man with an agenda. If we were picking today, we’d probably go with FDR, Obama, and a giant eye roll emoji. 😏

The first two were slave owners (racists), Lincoln would have left the Republican Party had he known the party would end up being racist. Theodore Roosevelt is known for his PROGRESSIVE policies and his famous "Square Deal" agenda, which aimed to balance the interests of labor, capital, and the public. He would have rejected today’s MAGA racist policies. Soon enough, Obama will be joining that select group of presidents!!!👏👏👏

Washington had no party affiliation. Jefferson was a member of the Democratic-Republican Party which later became the Republican Party (which was a lot more Liberal than it is today. This was the same party as Roosevelt and Lincoln. All four would be “too liberal” for today’s Republicans, and today’s Democrats.
