next time just use proxies for editing n sending to the client after thy accept u can link the 4k or 1080p footage to the project n u done thy u can render for 100hours knowing the client won't say now the this clip put it in slow motion 😂

To those talking about the software he’s using, clients don’t care what software you use. If it’s Resolve, premiere, Final Cut, Avid composer, filmora, they just want their job done. Knowing the strength of your hardware and how to work fast is what matters. You can have resolve and still have a slow render or even edit. You choose a software mostly cause it works for you and not cause it’s the best cause softwares don’t do the job, the artist does.

My advice is, sent them a rough cut, low quality with your watermark, when they agree. Then you proceed. This is my workflow and it always works. I’ll send first rough cut, make changes and when they exhaust the number of changes we agreed to in the contract, we continue as it stands or they pay extra for another change, before I do any effect, sound design or grading.
