Bro is definitely a villain without a doubt, yes lots of the deaths he caused was due to his curse, but he also killed people intentionally. His curse plays a part in this of course, but his curse doesn’t erase the fact that he’s a villain

He had a tragic back story FOR SURE , he had a softer melancholic side FOR SURE , he also had a terrible curse FOR SURE… but pls let’s not act like he didn’t a) kill a lot of ppl b) make the demons that also killed a lot of ppl c) try to kill his own girl and her guild for his own gain 😭😭🙏🏽

I don’t think Zeref left his demons to roam around because wasn’t Natsu his final demon and most powerful. So I don’t think delora was wondering around for 400 years I think someone summoned him and let him kill people or couldn’t control delora and died then the demon went on a rampage.

Also he left instructions for how to summon all these demons, I mean he made it so they would disappear if he died. But he still documented them and then abandoned them, didn’t even unsummon them.

Yea for sure I agree dude is just thinking being in his shoes he was just a broken villain I mean he stop loving people bcz he didn’t want to kill them… he has such a rough backstory that it makes sense becoming a villain 🥲 I just always felt sad for him… and besides about the tower of heaven it was ppl about the kid slaves not him😅 but yea I completely agree you are not wrong but is just too sad character for me to consider him a true villain 😅

Zeref was a villain but he wasnt evil. if there's anything that Dragon Ball Z has taught me, is that real villains don't have feelings. You can't call Zeref pure Evil when Frieza and Kid Buu are sitting right there🥀

Zeref is a fantastic antagonist and my favorite, but he’s absolutely a villain— he didn’t want to be one, but sadly that’s exactly how he ended up, which adds to the tragedy and theme of his character
