And roosters get such a bad rap. They’re the guardians and protectors of their species. They ensure they’re girls and babies live on. They put their needs and lives last and will die to protect their own flocks. I love them for what they represent. Roos are the best 💪

I have a bantam roo that came as a surprise when I ordered hens only. But he is such a character, he alerts the ladies when I put snacks out for them, watches for birds, and crows out warnings then pushes them into the coop when we have severe weather coming. littlest guy doin the most. Roos are underrated

I had an excellent rooster like this his name was Hoss they could be all over the 20 acres and I would call for him and sure enough he'd be marching his ladies back.. he also built nest for the hens in the coop.
