@captiverust: RTV (room temperature vulcanization) Silicone sealants are amazing materials, but using them in the wrong applications can create major problems. The previous owner used silicone sealant to seal the water cooling inlet of this 1997 Sea Doo Challenger jet boat and a glob of it became lodged in the inlet. The lack of water cooling the engine caused it to overheat and almost start a fire. #rtv #silicone #jetboat #seadoo #2stroke
