We had taken in one dog off the street who was severely malnourished & sick. We got her healthy & had her for a year before decided to go adopt at the local shelter. Well, she is a Catahoula & my husband found a male Catahoula so we went to meet him. He wasn’t a good fit & I cried because I had so much guilt over not adopting him. But then we met this sweet little guy who might be a hound or terrier mix & I knew then he was the one we were meant to adopt. And now we have 3 rescue dogs. 😂 my son found our last girl in a parking lot with missing patches of fur & irritated skin who had obviously been mistreated. We took her in too. They’re our family. 🤷🏼♀️🐾❤️

Not this beautiful baby's fault and not necessarily the "un-adopters". Sometimes it becomes apparent quickly that it's not a good fit. At least a small attempt was made.

It took my cat two weeks to finally get used to me and come out of the box he was hiding in. He was literally scared all the time and then finally one day he warmed up to me and was such a sweetie. Some of these people don’t want to give the dog a chance.
