Turn the disk where you put the thread around. So the dome is facing the spool of thread and push it tight so there is no space between spool and thread. Also check your manual the thread needs to unwind in a certain direction off the spool because it will cause issues. Sorry I’m not at my machine right now the machine. I had that issue when I first started. I hope it helps you.

I have the same machine. your thread is getting caught somewhere, it gets to tight and then breaks the needle. I don't use the white piece you would put on the spool of thread , try taking that off and see if it wont get caught. it's not your stablizer, it's the thread path.

Needle needs to be flat in the back and have it as tight as possible to prevent it from becoming loose with vibrations during embroidering. Check your bobbin case to ensure it is placed correctly. Your bobbin needs to placed like a P when placing in the bobbin case. Do not use the spool cap, if you have the little gray cap use it. It should slide snuggly into the thread spool.

Are you putting your needle in correctly? The flat part of the top of the needle goes to the back

I bought a tread holder that sits the thread spool up and haven’t broken a needle since.

It’s the issue with it getting caught on the thread holder most likely. Put your thread in a cup to the side of the machine.

I have same machine and got a thread holder instead of using the thread hold on machine! Much better success! I am also new to this

Organ or Schmetz 75/11 for embroidery. Be sure your needle is squarely into the needle channel and all the way up. It can be frustrating, but welcome to the Embroidery world.

Just recently went through this same thing. I would break 4 needles for one simple monogram. 2 suggestions: be sure your material is tight in the frame or (this is a biggie) your machine timing is off. There are some great YouTube videos to help.

I buy the organ needles from Amazon! They’re cheaper and the quality is better in my opinion. I have a brother SE600 and I usually keep my tension at 3. My items usually turn out better/has less mechanical issues when I use WSS on top as well as the stabilizer the material calls for. If I’m not mistaken the machine comes with a guide to tell you which stabilizer and which needle to use with which material😊

My bobbin thread tension was messed up for so long! It needed to be adjusted on the metal case that holds the bobbin. It was the only thing that helped me! It was a real pain so I would try all other suggestions first but might be something you could look into!

The caps on the end make sure you are using the correct size and make sure you have it on there tight. If the thread is getting caught it will pull tight and could cause the needle to break as well as the thread

Put your thread in a coffee cup instead of the thread holder.

If your thread at the top is getting wound around up there that very well could have been the problem

My brother machine thread gets caught at the top a lot. I don’t put the cap on and it seemed to fix it

Follow the thread path. Is it trapped under the spool of thread?

Try buying a thread stand. I think your thread is getting hung up when it’s coming off the spool.

Always cut away on wearables. Especially cotton. Also put your thread in a cup. Just drop in in a coffee cup in FRONT. Not to the side where the th read can table but in the front.

Check to make sure your top thread isn’t catching on the spindle it rolls off. The best invest you can make is to order yourself a stand up thread holder from Amaon.
