My great grandma survived that. She was able to get to America eventually, she has never said how she made it out only how she managed to live in the rubble until she could leave on foot.

my great grandma somehow survived the ghetto or somewhere in Warsaw. she never talked about it and died before I was born. my grandma somehow does not see the parallels somehow. maybe I'll try showing her this video
