I am 61. A realization came to me about 10 years ago. My parents knew this but they couldn’t get me to understand this. I had to learn this the hard way.. I wasn’t able to get my children to understand this. Now they are out in the white man’s world learning this the hard way on their own. 20 years from now their children will have to learn this the hard way. We all think we can do it better.

I Worked in information technology because I could make money there without being in management. My degree was useless because no corporations wanted a big black man in leadership unless it was the military or service companies.
