I switched from the omnipod to the mobi. The algorithm is AMAZING! I only regret not switching sooner because my A1C on the Omnipod was a 7-9 and on the tandem I’ve consistently been a 6 or lower.

The best algorithm is aaps. Just take control of your needs and build the settings around you.

My son switched from the Omnipod 5 to the mobi in May of last year after a year on the Omnipod and he loves it so much more. We had the same issues with Omnipod and have found control iq to do a much better job keeping him in range. It’s not perfect but he’s about to be 11 so his growth hormones are all over the place. His A1C has stayed between 6.1 and 6.6 since switching though! He’s never had any reactions to the adhesive and actually really likes being able to switch from the 5in tubing to the 23in tubing and having more options on how he wears his pump now. I don’t think he would ever want to go back to Omnipod.

i switched from omnipod to the t-slim and then to the tandem mobi, and i love it!! i HATED the omnipod, it was always leaking and the alarms were so annoying. with the mobi, its so small, you forget where it is sometimes. i love the mobi!!

Mobi is awesome. I’ve been with it for over a year now and have gone through the updates and the algorithm is incredible. Control IQ and the sleep feature is huge reason my trends are steadier. (My A1C went from a 9.5-6.8)I’m also SUPER sensitive to adhesives. Have had issues for a long time, but have NEVER had a bad reaction to the adhesives with tandem. I use the autosoft infusion set, and it’s been great. I’m excited for you to switch!

yess, hope you love it! i switched a little over a month ago and ill never go back. my numbers improved SOOO much! ive also never had a reaction to omnipod adhesive or autosoft/tandems sleeves!

Hi. I was diagnosed last year and I have had tandem Mobi since a little bit before Christmas and I love it. I feel like it would probably be easier to work than that when you have. I personally don’t have a favorite between short and long tubing. It just depends really on how I feel but I wear the long tubing way more often. I’ve only ever worn short tubing like three times tops just because the long tubing is easier to stretch and stuff but up to you. ❤️

I’m on the mobi and I love it! And I tend to have allergic reactions but I haven’t had any to the adhesive

The mobi is amazing! I was recently diagnosed and the adhesive doesn’t bother me at all and if it does you can always clip it on your pants or bra! My days are pretty predictable other than those few bad ones

As someone has used both, it doesn’t have anything to do with which pump use the tandem for a really long time. No difference between that and the Omnipod. I am hoping to try the movie because it’s smaller, but I had just as many cannula with tandem that it made it ridiculous.
