My grandfather died of a ruptured brain aneurysm, my mum had an aortic aneurysm that she had surgery to repair, my sister died 2 months ago from a brain aneurysm. I have an mri booked for next month. Neurologist told us that everyone on our side of the family needs to get checked. I’m scared

I experienced vague symptoms, tired and only sort of sick. Complained to my PC and she got me a home health aide, twice a week. Aide arrived at 3 pm and I asked her to take me to the hospital (just to pick up a Rx) is what I lied to tell her..... And I got labs and EKG, and my lab was elevated because I had a heart attack for hours, and I waited for the Home Health Aide instead of (scary) calling 911 and ambulance. Women's health is definitely different than mens MI.

My mum just got an aneurysm clipped in surgery before it ruptured. She kept getting headaches & got a CT scan that found it.

my late spouse died of brain aneurysm 9 yrs ago. only symptom he had was temporary vision loss which I begged him to go to dr and get checked. 2 weeks later he was gone. my kids were told they need MRI but not till they are 19

The real question is how to get a doctor to take you seriously when you approach them with these types of symptoms that could be interpreted in so many different ways

My cousin and god mother passed away from an aneurysm in 2005. She was alone and fell out in the street. People robbed her of jewelry too. Smh
