It looks like most of the girls in the tutorials started out with curled hair, so maybe try that first? The styles look great, it’s just the ends that look like natural hair texture instead of even curls. Still looks great though!

don’t let anyone gaslight you- i have the exact same hair texture and this is exactly how my hair styles!! it’s so frustrating. doesn’t matter if i use texture spray, hair spray, curled, or straight it just NEVER works!!! 😭😭😭

Curl your hair before and use texturing spray to add a bit more hold/volume then style, don't tighten it too much. Light Hairspray afterwards
