I think you’re being very real and also kind of brave for speaking up about this. We should stop normalizing absurd names for kids. Guaranteed bullying and what about when he has a job interview as an adult? Why not add Aquaman as a middle name if you really, really wanna use it and just pick a normal first name. When my daughter was born we really wanted to name her after Freddie Mercury so we picked Freddie as her middle name. I mean, a girl named Freddie didn’t seem ideal 😂 Her first name is Emma. Nice and simple.
