I have lupus, hashimotos, up, pseudo tumor cerebri, brain surgery, vp shunt, too many surgeries to list constant debilitating pain I tried a pain clinic was given butrans did nothing but make me feel like a criminal. I was a nurse my whole career never let my patients suffer fought tooth and nail but I don’t want to live like this anymore.

This is so heartbreaking and preventable. Sadly this is what’s happening. Why are they doing this to innocent people when there is something that can help them have a quality of life ? We are all just a fall, accident or disease away from being in a situation where we need proper pain control

It’s scary having to rely on the white coats. If someone’s chronic pain is always going to be there, WHY would they take it from patients? 😞

The same thing happened to me. I used Kratom and marijuana to fight my way back. I was on fentynal, hydrocodone, oxycodone, tizanidine, gabapentin, trazadone, and a couple of others that I can’t remember the name of. Dr. Retino of Fort Worth.

I will never trust doctors again for not fighting for us in any way and so all I would ever wish for is legalization with regulation but nowhere in the world is that happening and never in my lifetime. I can’t believe we were actually better off in Victorian times when it was actually your body your choice and I feel like I was just born during the wrong time in the wrong century and I honestly don’t know if I will survive this. I am terrified and how dare our own government knowingly torture us often to death.

My heart aches for all going through this madness, preventable deaths. Like no one saw this coming? “They” knew and did nothing. Greedy bastards, high on their horses! If they knew anything about their patients, they would know that pain medication is unfortunately a part of their life. In order to exist as a human being, we need some help either pain relief. I do all the work, I do all the research, I see a therapist, I try and do things that bring me joy, but there is no joy left in my life. I fear my obituary will be written next if something is not done?! Have one doctor that cares and stands by me, but that is all, 1 person. I am so sorry so many are suffering needlessly. I will always have some pain, but life comes with some pain. If only some of these doctors preaching Tylenol only could live in our shoes for 5 minutes, they would change their tune!💔🙏

Withdrawl causes depression because the drugs give you dopamine and you cant produce it on your own anymore. Addicts all struggle with depression after. He should have been in a treatment center while detoxing. 😳
