It just felt weird to me than when talking about diversity you said the cast was too light when in the cast there’s a mixed person POC and an Asian (I think Korean origins) girl. It’s the way you worded it that felt weird to me. Like their “diversity” wasn’t enough. Like light skinned POC aren’t diverse enough. Maybe I’m saying this cause of my background and it felt weird to me cause of that. I agree that it’d be great to have more representation, I just think it’s was worded in a weird way that made me feel uncomfortable in a way. I didn’t say anything tho cause I understood your point. That’s all.

As someone from a diverse community. It’s weird af to watch shows from the 90s. Is so obvious how white it is. My husband just watched Buffy this year and it’s was annoying him the whole time.

Exactly this! I hate how when we speak out on the obvious we get accused by certain other YT people of doing it for clout. Way to call them selves out. I like diversity in my shows. I like to hear new stories by other people who have different backgrounds to me as do other people. It’s very fair to be commenting on the casting this way esp as the rumours were that they were seeking a black female for the lead initially.
