This is one thing I will stand on. There have been fatalities connected to people grabbing their luggage during evacuations. If he needed a special medication in that moment, an ambulance can take them right to the hospital

90 seconds. That’s how long flight attendants have to evacuate 200 people. Every person who takes the time to grab a bag puts the lives of those behind them in further danger. It’s pure selfishness. Plain and simple

To the ones saying “ but I have medicine in my bag”. Pack it in your purse. Or wait..you do know medical and emergency personnel meets the plane when doing an evacuation right? So Listen to the Flight attendants and LEAVE EVERYTHING!!! You have 90 seconds to get all 176 people off that plane. Wish the FAA would fine people caught with bags or not listing to flight crew. They say that you’re not supposed to take your stuff with you, but the video showed a lot of other people wearing their backpacks and taking their suitcases as well. In this day and age he has every right to protect his identity or risk get deported. You can’t prove who you are if your documentation is on fire.

Literally every emergency page ever says no luggage and remove heals or sharp shoes because the luggage slows you down but that stuff also risks ripping the slide 👌🏻
