First, Thailand blames Cambodia for using a BM‑21 rocket launcher, a weapon that fires 40 rockets in a single volley. Yet their own video evidence shows only one explosion, not a full strike pattern. Second, Cambodia’s D‑30 howitzers, which fire single shells, have a maximum range of only 15.4 km, meaning they cannot even reach the 7-Eleven in question. No verified satellite data, independent observers, or third-party military analysts have confirmed that Cambodian BM‑21 units were positioned near the impact site or even aimed in that direction. If BM-21s were used, where are the other 39 rockets? If Cambodia lacks the range, who really fired the shot? Thailand itself? All signs point to this: Thailand may have bombed its own territory to fabricate a pretext for retaliation, distract from their aggression at the border, and avoid diplomatic resolution.

Why did Cambodia start a war? Cambodia is a small and developing country. We don’t have the powerful weapons like Thailand. We don’t have the money or the power to start a war. Our people, women, children, elders, monks, just want to live in peace. Cambodia has always respected our neighbors. But now we are under attack. Bombs have fallen on our land. Our soldiers and innocent people are dead. Our sacred temples, which are part of our identity and culture, are being damaged. And yet Thailand is trying to control the story. They say Cambodia started the war. But why would we? What do we gain? We are the ones who lost our lives. We are the ones who suffered. Don’t believe everything you see on the news. Look deeper. Ask questions. Cambodia is not the attacker, we are the ones who are being attacked.
