Since there is a shelf with all those plants, I’d move the painting to the left to give more balance to the back wall. Maybe move it by a foot or so, because the composition of that wall is very heavy on the right with it up against the shelf like that. I like the overall vibe. Maybe spread the plants out to the back left corner to give more balance to the space too. I saw a lot of people suggesting a carpet which might be nice. But nothing too heavily patterned so that it doesn’t break up the motif. If you want carpet, try matching with the furniture or going with a darker shade, not black but maybe a mid tone between your sofa and the table. Other than that it looks very nice! You are beating the allegations 🥰😊

Lacks character but yeah, fits the modern day aesthetic tbf. Add a rug and turn the lamp around for a more chill ambiance. I think it’s a bit too bright for the room, especially with the shape and white light (as opposed to a warmer yellow), it’s giving flood lights vibes hahah

A little bland but you've made a good start. Maybe move a plant to the table to disrupt the straight lines? As others have said, when you have funds, add in some colour and soft textures. You deserve a soft blanket and cushions when watching TV.
