im surrounded by love and yet still feel alone... ouch. makes me feel like im not putting in the same effort and energy than the ones who love me are but at the same time I feel like I am. It's a weird place to be.

when the only time you allow yourself to truly relax is the few minutes between "falling asleep", and "being asleep". if youre even lucky enough to be able to sleep. always on and never being able to truly love in the moment despite how bad you want to. the guilt that comes from wanting to include others in your life but not being able to, or even worse the guilt of trying to bring others in and SUCCEEDING!

I'm convinced the real me is already gone and I'm what's left, piloting this empty husk of a body to keep up the image that I'm still here, and they're none the wiser. Got fake it till you make it because the truth is nobody gives a damn till the phone isn't picked up and hit the dirt. When your no longer the guy to drive them around so they save gas or don't feel like driving. Pots go cold because your no longer there to fix their "Favorite chili". The video games that were a bother taking your time from being useful to them go silent. When the pictures are all thats left every Christmas, then they ask why.

Ugh, it’s so hard. Misunderstood, always putting others before yourself. Causes a lot of other issues. Not just mental, but financially, socially, emotionally. But always expected to be strong and keep on keeping on. People like to pretend they care, as soon as you reveal being vulnerable and weak….game over.

Becoming an expert and hiding it is a different type of pain…becomes so easy to seem “happy” or “loved by everyone” when you just feel like the mask is glued on but you know what’s underneath. I hate it here 😂
