a customer wanted a portion of 6 garlic sticks (the only portion we sell is of ten) and in my little trainee mind it made perfect sense to sell him six PORTIONS 😃 he paid, said nothing, when I told him I messed up and to please not be mad he said “it’s ok darling, my colleagues will love it” and went on his merry way. He even tipped me.

This happened to me as a crew trainer at McDonald’s. I always felt so bad because my newbies would have panic attacks because they were messing stuff up. I got in trouble trying to help them… management said “you gotta stay in ur spot” and people wonder why it takes so long.. they never got fully trained ever everyone kinda figured it out

our elevator got stuck with 2 customers inside so I had to manage the register all alone for an hour as a newbie while my coworkers tried opening the elevator and it was the scariest but most adrenaline filled experience EVER 🙏🏻🥀
