@revkarla: Don’t turn away from this. We exist in a world where men believe that they are allowed to starve babies for their gain. They are allowed to because it’s happening while the world watches. They are allowed to because America is complicit. They are allowed to because American Christianity romanticizes an allegiance with the ones inflicting the cruelty and calls it prophecy. It is not. It’s a warped translation of Revelation that isn’t true. So the time when other generations went to war to stop a fascist and said “never again”? It wasn’t true. Never again is here again. And the children suffer. This is the reality of unchecked Christian patriarchy in bed with global powers that will stop at nothing to occupy a land because…..the Bible. Unless these systems that inflict unimaginable suffering time and again crumble…. Never again always becomes here we are again. And children suffer needlessly. No child deserves this But children are always the victim when power corrupts absolutely. And those in power lust for more. Babies be damned.
