@daniellewinchester71: Chronic illnesses and chronic pain are usually progressive in nature. This means even if we do all the right things, our condition still continues to decline overtime. “Normal” people do not understand this because they think that an illness is something you recover from when you get the right treatment. When you get better we can _______! Jeeze I would love to wake up better. You just don’t know until you open your eyes.

There is no better…can’t even maintain bc I can’t find a doctor who will give me my pain meds back after being forced to tapered off of them. So once I was at a place where my quality of life was as good as it gets. Now I’m back in pure hell. So yes…I’m worse

I still struggle wondering “will I get better”, having hope I wake up one day better. It doesn’t help for others to think it will just fix its self…

🥰😋😇😅😂yes they do mine has. been there since around the age yours did. thanks for doing what you do I don't know where your energy comes from. I'm exhausted just working on my recovery and my relationship with the Lord. I just can't get much more involved in the chronic pain world. God has me going another direction but I'll always be here in support of you

Thank you for addressing this. I have to constantly explain why I’m always tired due to CHRONIC ILLNESS. They don’t understand the chronic part and then feel entitled to explain to others what my illness is when they’re farther from the truth about what my illness is. I have POTS and the person that feels entitled to explain my symptoms for me isn’t Ill herself. Matter of fact, she explains POTS as a degenerative heart disease when POTS isn’t a disease AT ALL let alone a heart issue. It doesn’t help that she’s a pastor’s wife, a new one at that.

I love when people ask me if I'm ok, I tell them just in pain and they reply you are always in pain, I tell them I know so why do you ask me if I'm ok

thank you for this. I have so many conditions (demyelination of the brain, central cord syndrome, spondylitis, etc) yet I look younger & 'normal'. I have people who ask me why im limping, why am I 'sick again', and it just repeats itself. its incredibly frustrating. I try to hide behind humor but im so frustrated with this.
im going to repost this video to my Facebook. Hopefully they'll watch and get a clue.

I'm literally afraid of "old age". I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 24, I also have sjorgens, degenerative disc disease, ankylosing spondylosis, osteoarthritis in my back and both knees and I'll be 50 this year. I already have a cane for bad days and a walker for super bad days. What does 60, 70, or 80 look like?

My answer is always I’m fine because they never understand when I say no .. it’s have you tried to get more sleep, maybe you should try to lose weight.. I’ve lost over 60 pounds I still feel the same , take these supplements my friend said they are amazing.. I take a few supplements already.. prescribed supplements.. I’m still chronically ill.. ugh I’m so tired physically mentally exhausted..
