best sermon that I’ve ever heard has to be Francis Chan’s - The Power of a Quiet Life (you can find on YouTube). I think about it often—its based on 1 Thessalonians 4:11, “to seek to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,”. The sermon speaks about doing what God called you to do without becoming prideful, being faithful to what God has given you, & to do work for God without craving attention or appreciation, but simply wanting to live a life just serving Jesus. It reminds me that the life of a christian isn’t about validation & applause, but simple obedience to God & His plan to make more believers, whether it’s your job to minister to 1 believer or 1 million. I read it after reading Francis Chan’s book, Crazy Love! + i am a morning church girly but i do enjoy the extra hour to get ready for afternoon services lol!! https://youtu.be/HOzIKZs0ymE?si=euR6N5HLLmOsGrra
