@havingagoodyear: ✨First Week of School: Day 4 – “Find a Student Who” + Expectations & Procedures Slideshow Day 4 is when I really walk students through what they can expect in my class and how everything works. It definitely takes some time, but it’s 1000% worth it. Setting everything up clearly from the start saves soooo much time and confusion later on. For each slide in the slideshow, I: Explain the expectation, Model it myself, and Then we practice it together as a class. I also like to call on student volunteers to either repeat the expectation in their own words or come up and show the class what it looks like. It gets everyone involved and helps the info soak in! Honestly, being super thorough has been a game changer for me!!
