I had a teratoma removed at 22that was almost 5 lbs and destroyed right ovary. I have a right oophorectomy and part of fallopian removed. It damaged my other ovary too.

mine was a 14cm demoid cyst with hair and teeth. I went to my doctor several times thinking I had a kidney infection and they dismissed me. imagining from a car accident is how I found out about it. had to have my ovary and fallopian tube removed

I had a dermoid cyst of 5cm removed when I was 18 and then the surgeon didn’t get all the remnants so it grew back and it ruined my ovary because of the scar tissue that was there my ovary had to be removed

Mine was the size of a grapefruit! My surgeon said it was the biggest he had removed. It did destroy my ovary, and I was in so much pain.

Yes! I had one. It twisted my ovary. Took the doctors 2 months to figure it out. I was in such pain. The first dr tried to tell me it was my gallbladder!

This happened to me, I kept going to the ER the pain was unbearable. They kept saying go home honey your having cramps. Finally a woman doctor believex me, emergency surgery resulted in the removal of a 10 pound teratoma twisting my fallopian tube. Worst pain ever!

had one in my mediastinum. Stanford said it was supposed to be a siamese twin. it grew to be the size of a Soccer ball, pushing my right lung to collapse. I had lymphoma as well. it was quite the journey

Yep Mine had teeth and hair, gyno told me it was “just fibroids” for 10-12 years and one day started twisting my ovary.

Yup! Torsion made it grow to 24lbs! Took it out and put it in what looked like a roasting pan! Giant incision!
