Interesting topic for a series called politics for girls! I feel like women in particular are most affected by the relationship between taste and credit/debt: because of structural inequalities our average income is lower, yet due to patriarchal pressure we’re more inclined to follow trends and meet societal standards of taste. This reinforces both the gender gap and class distinctions
