Mindflayer fans you are so hopeful that he will be a major antagonist in S5 😂 the mindflayer has no conscience no objective nothing it's vecna who has been talking all this time he is the one who controls the mindflayer which is a bit like an extension of him when 011 banished henry to the upside down henry found the mindflayer which was a particle and gave it a conscience that is his own and he controls it with the hive and the monsters it is vecna who wants to invade the world to take revenge on humans the first shadow is totally contradictory to the series so it's not canon knowing that the mindflayer cannot interact with the earth without an open portal 🥀😭

i dont understand people who say Vecna isnt used by the Mind Flayer. Remember when Dustin said Vecna is " the Mind Flayer's 5 star general".
