I saw someone comment on a post with the trailer that Jake is slowly becoming more Na’vi with his beliefs, and Neytiri is slowly becoming more human with hers and her hate. I thought that was an amazing way to describe their relationship.

No matter what, the RDA was going to attack home tree, using Jake was just good luck for the RDA… they were never going to negotiate, the RDA takes whatever they want, it was thanks to Jake that they were able to survive and join the clans together to fight for their home. Without Jake, it would have all been lost.

To be fair, even if Jake never went to Pandora, her life would’ve been very negatively impacted anyways. They would’ve done exactly what they did, it just would’ve taken longer since they would’ve had to find their home on their own. He unfortunately sped that timeline up

I like to think that although destroying their original home tree was his fault, or at least them destroying it so efficiently, he was also the onto reason they were able to get the humans and RDA to leave pandora, they never would have won without him and they all would’ve been dead. It’s Jake’s wisdom and understanding of RDA and humans that keeps them afloat in the movies.
