No... Austria is bound to neutrality by the 1955 Austrian State Treaty and its constitution, which prohibits entry into military alliances and the establishment of foreign military bases on Austrian territory. Austrian neutrality is actually an enforced neutrality. The territory of Austria was occupied by allied forces until 1955. In 1955 the Soviet Union, in the Moscow memorandum, demanded Austria's neutrality on the model of Switzerland and expressed a preparedness for pledges by the four powers to the integrity and inviolability of Austrian territory. All of the countries with which Austria had diplomatic relations ratified the Austrian State Treaty.

We're neutral and it just ain't possible for us to join Nato. Neutrality is written down in our constitution and parliament wouldn't agree to this. There just wouldn't be enough votes. Of course it has been discussed and will be discussed, but I just don't see that it will happen.

Where does this guy get his sources😂? Austria cant join any military organisation because of WW2. After WW2 Austria was divided by france, usa, soviet union and the uk. And some time later the austrians made an agreement with the allies and soviet union that they will gain independence but cannot join any military alliances.

Austria 🇦🇹 started not 1 but 2 world wars and as part of the terms for the allies withdrawing from Austria they had "neutrality written into their constitution". so I find this very hard to believe🤷♂️

Was? Na sicher net. Österreich ist laut Verfassung ein neutraler Staat. Das steht fix drin. Damit sich das ändert, braucht’s eine Verfassungsänderung. Und ohne die FPÖ geht da gar nix. Und zur Info: Die FPÖ ist die Rechtspartei in Österreich. Also das stimmt einfach nicht, was du sagst.

President Trump needs to charge tax of some kind as America shouldn’t protect them all for free. Plus does anyone actually know where Austria is located ? Only found Astralia located in southern Europe
