I had the same feeling when I came to a new school my junior year. I made friends but then they graduated, and I was left with three friends who always wanted to talk to their separate friend groups rather than me, even if I was there, their friends wouldn’t really talk to me. It was the loneliest I have ever felt, to be surrounded by people— and still alone and unchosen.

I’m so tired :
I was making friends in the beginning of college and then they stopped talking to me. All of them. I did find a group at the end but I think it was a last hurrah and I’ll never talk to them again. Everyone always greets my service dog and not me. They rarely say my name. I feel like an accessory to the world. A mascot to the school. Then I got accused of animal abuse because my dog got sick and even more people stopped talking to me or shunning me without letting me explain what happened (with receipts).

it’s not ur fault. it shouldn’t be this difficult. i don’t want to be constantly trying. i understand so deeply. i graduate college w no friends while everyone was surrounded by them. just know i get it.

Went to college for 3 years and never made 1 friend, the loneliness got so bad that I had a depressive episode and had to move back home 😔

i’ve felt lonely in a crowd for a while now but i’ve just become physically alone and friendless. to be honest knowing it’s temporary is the only way to deal with it :(

Ive only had two friends last longer than seeing them in person, my college roommate and a coworker from my last job. It's so hard to keep connections, and it's worse when people talk about childhood friends. Like I moved too much to ever keep a good enough connection, and it's like people can tell im not "normal". I'm grateful for who I have, but not being around them anymore just makes it feel worse.

Making friends as an adult sometimes feels like an impossible task. I've meet some great people at work, but even that isnt the same. Just know it isnt your fault, your not behind or alone in feeling like this💕 (ps. I really like your art style, im slowly developing my art style and its a fun [and frustrating] process💕)

The only way i was able to make any friends was when i played online games some were fake and back stabbers but ive met some genuine long term friends ive also met some in person it is possible ik its hard being alone❣️❣️❣️

ive lowks given up on it, i mean im nice to people and some people stay, but most leave and I won’t beg them to stay. ive accepted being alone, and quite like the silence some days. others it’s too loud, but I find consolation in drawing, music, tv, and books. idk maybe im broken too.
