No, I’m happy for others in life no matter my situation, that’s messed up. My life is seperate and their life is seperate. Them going through something good isn’t going to change me not going through something bad. I’d rather not see my loved ones suffer and be happy, even if my circumstances are not. It’s unrelated.

I’ve realised one of my so called best friends has been like this and despised me anytime something good happened to be and built it up into a fireball of jealousy over the years. Because of their bias they cannot be a good friend in times of joy or trouble. Because they’re jealous in good times and in bad times they refuse to believe you deserve empathy
