Samurai swords were not built to go through chainmail.. the only way the samurai wins if he can get underneath because he's a lot more flexible and quicker.. odds are favor to the temple

Haven't watched it. But knight sweeps. He isn't an unarmed peasant so the samurai is at a severe disadvantage

I would say the knight would win because the katana is a slashing weapon. knight armory built to ll withstand slashing weapons most effectively. that why you see war hammers, very pointy swords back in medieval times

Katanas are not designed to damage heavy armour..very light.Templars are trained to fight all there life

knight has multiple advantages over the samurai such as armor and most weaponry the one that would be a problem would be the samurai bow as they use it on foot and horseback and the kanabo the heavy club against his shield however knights ain't slow for me a percentage would be around 70/30 for the knight

Yeah. Knights were EXTREMELY well versed in close quarters combat. A rondel dagger in the gaps of the armor was often the only way they were brought down
