@hankshottakes2: Dan Trachtenberg, the director of Predator: Badlands, revealed that the scene in the film where the Predator carries an android on their back was inspired by Chewbacca carrying C-3PO in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.  In Predator: Badlands, Elle Fanning's character, Thia, is a Weyland-Yutani android who loses the bottom half of her body and needs to be carried by the young Predator, Dek, played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi.
