I think this movie would have been better is if galactus actually won. Destroy the earth and the fantastic 4 abandon that universe to a new timeline. (616) we need films with villians actually winning once in a while.

I think Fantastic 4 is a safe movie because it needed to be… it’s their introduction and it’s not as if Marvel needs to bring eyes to it by taking any big risks… they can start getting risky in the sequels

I don't disagree with the take i just dont think NOW is the time to make it. coming off thunderbolts and f4 which had alot of heart into the movies amd wasnt really formulaic

I completely disagree with this take when applying to thunderbolts and F4. Thunderbolts had a completely unique structure to it and a very compelling arc about mental health that the MCU didn’t dare attempt to before. F4 is less so due to the more formulaic structure, but the sci-fi aspect and sense of adventure really gave it its own identity. Both of those films also being about found family was a really interesting comparison as well.

This movie should’ve been a stand alone, and not have any build up sequence. I felt the whole purpose was just to introduce the F4 to get Dr doom for Doomsday

ok, I think that iron man to endgame (the infinity saga) is cinema. I don't think any stand alone movie is, but that's because it's not the complete story. the final product was the whole saga. but this does not apply to the multiverse saga. the infinity saga is a fully realized vision.
