E-bikes add wrinkle to this. Like in NY it’s totally legal to ride a regular bike while drunk, but it’s a misdemeanor to ride an e-bike drunk

Nc here, you are legally allowed to ride a horse while drunk, sorta. But the bike drunk is illegal

One of the cop shows was in Las Vegas and they would always show bicyclists getting “pulled over” for drinking and cycling and would get in trouble. Per Google you don’t get DUI but you do get reckless endangerment.

Minnesota should be green. as long as it's not motorized, you cannot get a DUI and there is no BUI law on the books. if you are biking recklessly (i.e. swerving in the middle of the road) you can get hit with reckless endangerment but that's also true even if you're sober.
