My cat gave birth on my lap. On. My. Lap. Every time I tried to put her in the whelping box she came back, one time with a kitten half hanging out. Anyways Emma is 14 and is still just as psychically attached as ever 🥴

I understand that you think breeding cats is okay. clearly you have a passion for purebred cats. but imagine if this was you, even spaced out over years. we use animals so cruelly, so unthinkingly. and, to top it off, hundreds of thousands of cats are euthanized every year. breeders aren't the only problem but they are significant contributors. we need to stop this need for the pure and help people to love all the little lost souls we already have. please consider this.

Our one cat the night she had her first batch of kittens she came and layed out on her back on the couch between the back of it and our dog then when her labour started she started going back and forth from the living room to the bedroom with her bed in it until my mom and I and both of our dogs she’s been around since she was a little kitten were in the room then she finally was ready to have them it’s like she needed the emotional support of her little family
