@anastasiabeautyfascia: Your cheekbones aren’t just bone. There are also fascia/ fat and muscles. Right under the zygomatic arch (aka that beautiful bone that shapes your cheek), there’s a powerful but tiny set of muscles: zygomaticus major and minor. They are responsible for your smile :) But when these muscles are in chronic tension, here’s what happens: – The fascia around them tightens and pulls downward – Skin starts to crease or fold (hello, nasolabial lines) – Cheeks begin to lose their natural “apple” shape – Fluid and circulation get restricted- making skin look thinner ➡️ The solution isn’t to push harder or “lift” aggressively. It’s to release the attachment point, melt the tension at the base of the zygomatic. This technique is simple, but powerful when done slowly and consistently. Save it, try it for a few days, and let me know if your cheeks feel different. 👇 Want a follow-along tutorial for this area? Let me know
