I had the healthiest hair until I switched to high end products and they literally broke my hair off so badly. Back to drugstore products my hair is so soft and healthy, trying to get it back as it was

The difference is ingredients like dimethicone are used, which aren’t water soluble so they build up on the hair. Salon quality products use different silicones that are water soluble so they are able to be broken down with every wash instead of building up on the hair. They also don’t include unnecessary alcohols. But honestly you do you, whatever works for your hair type!

Ok I’ve been using Redken, Joico, Ouai, K18, Kerastase and stuff like this for years and yesterday I used Pantene for the first time and I had hollywood hair what is going on

I stay away from drugstore product because of ethics and environmental reasons. The best thing I ever did for my hair and my scalp is switch to a shampoo bar.

You don’t know what to believe anymore. I buy salon products. But I cant really tell a difference with store bought products. My hair is still dry from highlights. And ofcourse hairdressers will earn from you buying their stuff in the salon. But.. -you- have a whole method named after yourself so you might have the same ambitions.

please help me understand no amount of googling is helping me. I use pantene and I love it, but after a few days my scalp hurts. my mom got me Olaplex and I've been busy so it's been a minute since I could wash my hair and no scalp pain. why? am I doing something wrong? I can't always afford Olaplex

oh come on please. 250 ml of shampoo drugstore is not the same as 250 ml high end. the last one will last longer. so clearly the ingredients are not the same. and drugstore mask are not as good as high end. I agree that some drugstore products are good but never as good as high end products.
