Parent guilt is real. Especially when parenthood and circumstances turn out differently than you imagined they would. Kids are so damn resilient and love focused. There’s so much evidence, despite what you feel failure about, that your girl loves you. All any of us can do is our best while the story unfolds.

Me too. I did it. It made me a better dad. We were totally broke and had to make up shit to do. They look back at those times as the happiest. So, just be creative and be all about them. That’s all they need.
