does this rule include the small bag you get with the booking cus that's just with you at the seat and there's no way i'm leaving that when you literally just get it as you're standing up.

When it comes to traveling I usually will wear some kind of jacket and keep phone/ID in my pockets so I can make sure I always have it in this situation

Looks to me like they’re taking their personal bags. I don’t see any “carry on” luggage. I’d also grab my purse. It always has my phone, wallet and medications inside of it. Along with my inhaler. Soooo yeah I’d take two seconds to grab it 🤷🏻♀️I wouldn’t be grabbing my carry on luggage in the overhead bin tho.

i always worry about my medication. i have severe asthma all that smoke would put me out i would need it immediately so i’m sorry but grabbing my bag

Seeing people with kids have bags is BAFFLING to me... Like I could not care less about THINGS when I'm worried about getting my BABIES off a plane in an emergency.

you cannot get home if you are dead, the seconds you spend grabbing your bag could be the seconds you needed to get to safety. would you rather die with your phone and passport or live without them?

Sigh. These comments are so disapointing.. there is nothing in your bag that is needed. Need life saving medication?-get it at the ER. Need IDs? You can get those replace. This can be life and death. This plane is on fire. Within minutes the whole thing can be up in flames or explode.

I’m mean, I mainly saw personal items (like backpacks you keep at your feet). And one animal carrier. I feel like it takes no extra time to grab your purse/backpack at your feet while you stand to leave. Suitcases obviously are another thing, but I’m not seeing much of those.

Don’t u know what deplaning looks like? The ppl in front of u typically have to move before you can start to. So unless ur in like the 3 rows closest rows to the emergency exit, then taking a second to grab ur small bag under ur seat isn’t hurting anyone. And tbh even if u were near the emergency exits, I’d bet good money they made an announcement that they were putting the slides down and all so yeah I’m sure many ppl grabbed their bags under their seats when they heard that. It’s fine.

I’m taking the bag at my feet sorry not sorry. It has both my husband and my medication and identification. The two seconds it takes to grab it while waiting on other people to get off in said emergency isn’t doing nothing to others. Not like when those doors open everyone magically flies off the plane. People wait in lines to get off that plane do me grabbing my personal bag at my feet isn’t hurting anyone.

In fairness, I wasn’t on that flight and I don’t know what people were being told right before they got off. It’s possible they were briefed. It wasn’t that serious who knows.. but in general agree agreed
