When I was going through my divorce my ex-husband fought for joint custody of his son. I am so glad he is a part of his son's life and I don't have anymore children. You are so right about only having the amount of children you can take care of.

My favorite custody agreement: parent pick kids up from school on Friday afternoon, keep a week, then the other gets them after school next Friday , repeat. Parents never even have to see each other

I love what you did there!! I only had the one. Was not married. Daughter is now 36. HOWEVER, her Father: every other weekend. Whatever holidays. 4-6-8 weeks in the summer. And when he and her Stepmom moved, he paid for her flights, until 18! And paid for daycare. I WAS THE SPOILED ONE🥳🤩
