Do a black outline first, doesn’t have to be perfect, just do you know your guides. Put down the brown inside the outline and then redo the black outline. That may you only have to be perfect with that second outline!

for something like this is would make a stencil to make it go faster and keep each rope segment even. Just a piece of stiff paper in that shape that you could trace over and over
