The job market is AWFUL right now. I literally spent months trying to secure just a basic, entry level job (I’m a college student). I’m now working at a coffee shop which I don’t love but I def try to remind myself to be thankful that I get to go to work, even if I don’t love the job I have currently😭

Unless you’re actively trying to find a job right now, you have no idea how bad it is. I have a master’s and had to accept a minimum wage job almost an hr away because it was the only one offered to me after more than 5k applications.

my parents saying "you gotta call them and show them you really want it" no that doesn't work anymore. they want you to leave them alone and even if i did call they wouldnt bat an eye at my eagerness because they are not actually hiring.
