scarcity mindset can make us resistant to sharing IMO.... but I agree with you that it can be unwise to give away a free resource (your knowledge/time) for no benefit.... I saw my parents do this my entire life - generously give and give and never ask anything in return. they are rich in love & community but live below poverty line.... and that affects everything in their life and health. so.... I think its more like what makes sense for your current situation? do you need to gatekeep to help yourself financially? or do you need community and are willing to "pay" for that in terms of your loss?

I completely agree with this. Especially as someone who considers themself to be a private person and likes when others are proactive. And it’s not that I don’t want others to make it but this feeling of obligation to share can get annoying lol
