@user033434784: Yes, I understand Lord Randyll Tarly in the end is just a side character but he stuck with me because I see a lot of similarities with Stannis Baratheon who is one of my favourite characters. Randyll is like Stannis but without a moral compass or code. He just does what he is supposed to do. Very cold and calculating and I see why people hate him but in the end, idc. He's goated I've also seen people try to downplay his victory against Robert "Tyrell's reputation rested on one indecisive victory over Robert Baratheon at Ashford, in a battle largely won by Lord Tarly's van before the main host had even arrived." Randyll beat them, then the main Tyrell host arrived. Indecisive victory did very little damage and failed to catch Robert on the retreat. Randylls entire reputation is based off of Robert’s blunder which he failed to properly capitalise on
