Those security gates were not always there at Canadian grocery stores…they started installing them during Covid times when people where walking out with shopping cart full of groceries and not paying…Sad that we have become a low trust society in a short period of time

In Canada, all packaging is required to have both French and English writing 🙂 The front, back, ingredients list, nutritional value chart, everything is bilingual!

why would you bother crossing the border of Canada dude. Canadians hate you. I get that the Canadian economies in a tank and their dollar is cheap. but the prices are horribly overpriced because the government subsidized local only. come back to your country and stand proud. our prices are cheaper. food quality is better and much better selection. One thing you got wrong, I don’t know one Canadian who remembers to bring their own bags 😂 I’ve spent more on reusable bags than groceries at this point😅 you’d think we’d have learned by now but no 😂

Since Trump started threatrning our sovereignty earlier this year, many grocery stores have Canadian stickers on shelves showing which items are made/produced in Canada. This helps us support local, and avoid American.
