Would you say the same thing when people complain about not making enough money but yet choose to live in a high cost area. I’ve made that argument for years and they always tell me it’s not that easy to just move away for various reasons

We moved here from CT last September!! We live in Springfield and absolutely love it. Cost of living is fantastic compared to CT! I totally agree with Tom and don’t let the door hit ya on the way out.

Hey. Illinois is one of the top states people are moving out of. The more people that leave, the more they’ll tax everyone else. Vicious cycle.

hes been great. I too am not a fan of the gas tax hike nor the proposed mileage tax bs, buuuuuuuuuut, I love a lot of other stuff he's done. his response to COVID won me over.

I left Illinois in 2001. I’ve never moved back. I almost bought a house there in 2022. The property tax in the area I liked was expensive and the gun laws is why I chose to stay in Wisconsin.
